Computer Systems Solution Architect

Job description

32 Stripes is seeking a talented and experienced Solution Architect to join a material sciences company. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions for our client. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software architecture, system integration, and software development best practices.

The Computer Systems Solution Architect will:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet their needs
Design and develop complex software solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to industry best practices
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams
Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools that improve the development process and software solutions
Conduct code/configuration reviews and ensure quality and adherence to best practices
Analyse and troubleshoot complex software issues

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least 5 years of experience as a software developer or solution architect
Proven experience in designing and developing complex software solutions
Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with agile software development methodologies
Experience with cloud-based platforms and services
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language and database technology
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
